Westfield Veterinary Hospital in Johnston, IA is hiring for an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our practice!

Westfield Veterinary Hospital (WVH) is a full-service small animal practice offering the best in medical, surgical, and customer care with a 4 DVM team looking to add an Urgent Care Veterinarian. Our clinic sees primarily small animal, but also sees a small percentage of exotics. We are currently in the process of becoming AAHA Accredited!

Most importantly, we have a well-trained and well-utilized support staff . They are empowered to do everything they are trained to do.

We perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. We support everything from wellness exams, laser therapy, ultrasound, ophthalmology, radiology, dentals, and more! Plus, we have an orthopedic traveling surgeon that comes in when needed! We're a collaborative, FUN team that has a staff with all their own niches (surgery, advanced dentistry, ultrasound, etc.)!

Ideal qualifications:

• Urgent Care or Emergency Experience
• Iowa Veterinary License active and in good standing
• Team-oriented mentality that supports our collaborative, family culture
• Ideal schedule being weekends 8-8 and picking up another weekday shift to be considered full time (No surgery necessary) (No overnight care)- Let's discuss!
